This privacy policy applies to the websites mueller-bonndorf.de, line-traction.de and engineering-mueller.com. Line Traction and Müller Engineering are brands and business units of Müller Landmaschinen GmbH, which is the controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for all three websites.
We process your personal data exclusively in accordance with the GDPR and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). Below we inform you about the nature, scope and purpose of processing, the legal bases, recipients and retention periods, and about your rights.
When you visit our pages, your browser transmits connection data for technical reasons (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type). Our web server processes this data only transiently in order to deliver the page; it is not logged or stored. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the provision of a functional and secure website.
Transmission is encrypted (TLS/HTTPS). Our websites run on a server managed by ourselves in the data centre of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestraße 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. Hetzner solely provides the server infrastructure (data centre in Germany) and has no access to the content; the cooperation is based on a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). No processing takes place outside the European Union.
If you contact us via one of our contact forms (contact, integration partner enquiry, press enquiry), by e-mail or by telephone, we process the details you provide (usually name, e-mail address, company, telephone number and your message) in order to handle and answer your enquiry. Mandatory fields are marked with * in the forms; without an e-mail address we cannot reply to you.
When you use the online forms we additionally store the IP address of the sending connection and the time of submission. This serves to protect our systems against abuse and spam (limiting the number of requests per connection, detecting automated input).
Form enquiries are stored on our server at Hetzner in Germany (section 3) and additionally forwarded by e-mail to the responsible department. For sending e-mail and for our mailboxes we use Microsoft 365 provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd., One Microsoft Place, Dublin 18, Ireland, on the basis of a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). Processing in the USA by Microsoft Corporation cannot be ruled out; it is safeguarded by Microsoft's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and by EU standard contractual clauses. Data is not passed on to any other third parties.
Form enquiries stored on our web server are deleted automatically after 12 months. We delete e-mail correspondence once your matter has been finally resolved and no statutory retention obligations apply. If a contract is concluded, we retain the documents required under commercial and tax law for the statutory periods, generally ten years (Sec. 257 HGB, Sec. 147 AO).
If you provide us with your postal address, we reserve the right to use it for direct postal marketing (e.g. invitations to events, special offers). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR in conjunction with Recital 47 GDPR. You may object to this use at any time without giving reasons, e.g. by e-mail to datenschutz@mueller-bonndorf.de; your data will then no longer be used for marketing purposes.
You can apply to us via the application form on our "Jobs" page or by e-mail. We process the applicant data you submit (contact details, information on the desired position, your message and any documents sent by e-mail such as CV and certificates) exclusively for the purpose of the application procedure.
The legal basis is Sec. 26(1) BDSG in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (decision on the establishment of an employment relationship). Within our company, your data is received only by the management and the managers responsible for the position. The information on Microsoft 365 in section 4 applies to transmission.
Applicant data is deleted no later than six months after completion of the application procedure unless you are hired; form applications stored on our web server are deleted automatically after six months. If you would like us to keep your application on file for future vacancies, we need your express consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time.
Please do not send us special categories of personal data (e.g. information on health, religion or trade union membership) unless required for the position.
We manage our used machinery inventory with software provided by our service provider farmpartner-tec GmbH, Klarenbergstraße 44, 73525 Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany. When you open the "Maschinenbörse" page (/gebrauchtmaschinen), your browser loads the machine data and photos directly from farmpartner-tec's servers (domains ams-maschinenmarkt.de and ams-webmanager.com). For technical reasons farmpartner-tec thereby receives your IP address, date and time of access, browser type and the information which machines or categories you view.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to show you our always up-to-date inventory without maintaining the data twice. farmpartner-tec acts as our processor under Art. 28 GDPR and processes the data in Germany. No cookies are set and no usage profiles are created. If you do not wish this transmission to take place, please do not open the machinery exchange – all other pages work without any connection to farmpartner-tec. Enquiries about individual machines reach us directly by e-mail or telephone, not via farmpartner-tec.
Our pages contain links to third-party websites, e.g. our partners and suppliers (spare parts portals, manufacturers, research institutions). Merely visiting our pages does not transmit any data to these providers; only when you click a link do you leave our website. The respective provider alone is responsible for the handling of your data on the linked pages; please refer to their privacy notices.
You have the following rights vis-à-vis us as controller:
Right to object under Art. 21 GDPR
Where we process your data on the basis of a legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), you have the
right to object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then no longer
process your data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your
interests, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
Where your data is processed for direct marketing, you may object at any time without giving
reasons. Your data will then no longer be used for this purpose.

We take technical and organisational measures under Art. 32 GDPR to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access: encrypted transmission (TLS), restricted access to stored enquiries, regular updates of our systems and automatic deletion periods. Please note that unencrypted e-mail communication may have security gaps; for confidential information we recommend post or telephone.
We update this privacy policy whenever our websites, the legal situation or our service providers change. The version published here applies. Last updated: September 2026.
